AN INTERACTIVE PUBLIC ARTWORK by Coryn Kempster and Julia Jamrozik
Commissioned by C.S.1 Curatorial Projects and CEPA Gallery for CEPA’s West Side Lots Project
An interactive sculpture for all ages playfully reshapes the typical linear construction of a swing set. Bringing a piece of playground equipment together with the spatial arrangement of political round-tables and corporate boardrooms, this installation collapses the child and adult spheres. Aiming to create socially conscious dialogue, FULL CIRCLE is positioned where diverse Buffalo communities intersect and adjacent to a school with 70 countries represented and 44 languages spoken.
